Privacy Policy

What this covers
This policy describes how Kwill (“we”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit getkwill.com or place a reservation. We keep this simple because we believe you should understand it without a law degree.
Information we collect

Name and email address
Collected when you place a reservation or join the waitlist. Used to process your reservation and send you launch updates.

Payment information
We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card data goes directly to Stripe and is subject to their privacy policy.

Analytics data
We use PostHog and/or Plausible to understand how visitors interact with this page (scroll depth, section views, CTA clicks). These tools collect anonymized, aggregate data — no personal profiles.

UTM parameters
If you arrive via a link with UTM tags (e.g. from an ad or email), we record the source to understand which channels are working. This is stored in your browser session only.
How we use your information

- —To send occasional pre-launch updates (infrequent — we hate spam too)
- —To understand which features matter most to prospective users
- —To detect and prevent fraudulent reservations
Third parties we work with
Stripe
Payment processing. They handle all card data. We receive a confirmation token only.
Supabase
Database. Your name and email are stored here so we can send your launch email.
Resend
Transactional email. Used to send your reservation confirmation.
PostHog / Plausible
Anonymous usage analytics. No cross-site tracking, no ad targeting.
We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers, ever.
Data retention
If you reserve a spot, we keep your name and email until you ask us to delete it or until 90 days after the product launches. If we don't launch, we delete all reservation data within 30 days of that decision.
If you join the waitlist only (no reservation), we keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:

- —Receive a copy of the data we hold about you
- —Opt out of all future emails from us

Cookies
We use only functional cookies (session storage for UTM data and exit survey state). We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Our analytics tools are configured to operate without cookies where possible.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll email you at the address you provided. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
